I made a little progress on the tool chest details. I was able to complete the plane till plate layout. The next step will be to obtain the walnut necessary for the case in which this till will reside. Previous blog posts show the case design. This plate will be mounted almost vertically in the case and be located within arms reach of the bench where planing occurs.
It is almost midway through the year and my goals for KCWP are not being met. So I've made a decision, helped along by a very attractive price on a new Excalibur 30" scroll saw. I will be engaging a significant amount of craft work, essentially scroll saw work and working in this slow period to develop a reasonable inventory for Christmas oriented craft shows this year. I will be doing very detailed patterns, Christmas ornaments, and hopefully useful stuff. I have added a Scroll Saw Department page to the Store of my website. Any suggestions you have are welcome.
I hope you come back to view often because it is my intention to be adding stuff quickly to this page as the inventory grows.
I just put up a business page on Facebook for Krager Custom Wood Products. I'm still learning about the implications of that and how it all works together. I don't need another place to keep postings up to date, and duplicate posting isn't helpful. So, thank you for your patience while I work through the technical details. Any pointers are welcome!
